COMMITTEES

Budget Committee — Chair: Mavis Randklev, treasurer

The Budget Committee prepares the annual Budget for approval by the board no later than June 30 of the preceding fiscal year.

Bylaws and Policies Committee — Chair: Eileen Wende

The Bylaws and Policies Committee shall prepare changes to the Bylaws and Policies to keep them current. 

Communications Committee — Cochairs:  Ray Johnson, Jeanne Anderson

The Communications Committee shall communicate regularly with members about activities of the organization.

Nominations and Elections Committee — Chair: Mary Lou Oberson

The Nominations and Elections Committee shall administer the elections in compliance with these bylaws and PMAE-Retired policies.  In addition, it shall submit names of one or more candidates for each position to be filled at the next election. 

Legislative Committee — Chair: Maureen Barnhart

The Legislative Committee shall promote involvement in the OEA and PAT candidate interview process and election activities, lobbying elected officials, and monitoring senior issues, such as PERS, Health, Welfare, Insurance and Housing.

Membership Committee — Chair: Ray Johnson

The Membership Committee shall provide the appropriate materials and shall coordinate activities to promote and facilitate membership.  In addition, it shall organize and present information regarding retirement to local association members prior to their retirement.

Program Committee — Cochairs: Lisa Abramovic, Marleen Wallingford, Eileen Wende

At Large Directors plan the programs for meetings; develop monthly social and civic activities, events, and programs; and promote them to members through calendar items, articles, photographs, and other media on the association's bi-weekly email, website, and bimonthly newsletter.
